A Treat: Kids Know What Makes a Hero

Father’s Day is still a month out, but the folks over at Treat put together an adorable compilation video, asking kids what makes their dad special.

Can you spot the moment that makes me tear up every time?

It’s no secret dads are superheroes.

Have you heard of Treat? It’s a new part of the Shutterfly family, a service for making and sending personalized greeting cards. The video is adorable, and I think it does a great job pointing out why it’s more fun to capture the candid moments and turn them into a memory more meaningful than a sappy Hallmark cliché. Not to mention they’re cards you’d actually want to display instead of a simple chuckle or eye roll.

Share what makes your dad special in the comments, or ask your little one what they have to say and I’ll give away a personalized card just for him. (Cards need to be ordered from Treat by June 10 for Father’s Day Delivery.)

So celebrate your every day hero. Sometimes they don’t even wear capes.

P.S. This is not a sponsored post. The video made me smile and I figure we could all use a few extra.

  1. My kids are enthralled by their dad just as much as he is by them. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in this game of parenting.
