Press Release: Birthday Boys

And Babies Make Six…
The Stream Family Welcomes Twin Boys

SANTA CLARA, Calif., – May 29, 2010 – Yesterday, Jonathan and Tricia Stream, parents, welcomed twin baby boys into the world at Kasier Santa Clara. Search Welker and Destroy Anthony were delivered at 27.4 weeks by a stellar medical staff of more than 15 professionals, including surgeons, perinatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses and an individual pediatric team for both boys.

Search and Destroy join the Stream family with their parents and two four-legged brothers Cooper, yellow lab age seven, and Scout, black lab age five. The healthy baby boys are currently continuing their growth and development in the Class 3 Kaiser Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

“It is completely surreal to realize that we’re now really the parents of two baby boys,” said Mom, Tricia Stream. “They are little troopers and we are thrilled to have our little family together.” Dad, Jonathan Stream noted that, “it’s still very scary, but it’s amazing to have met them and be spending time with them.”

“It’s important to note that we’re still in the honeymoon period and the boys will be very closely monitored for a while,” said Dr. Carol Lin, perinatologist, “but the whole staff is thrilled with how they are progressing.”

Search Welker
Search Welker (code name Baby B) arrived at 1:32 p.m., weighing 2 pounds. Entering the world in similar fashion to how he behaved in the womb, Search arrived flailing about with a Braveheart-like determination for freedom, Search lived up to his moniker, of Gaelic origin and meaning “spirit of battle.” Social Security ranks the name Search as the 103rd most popular name from 2009, down from its peak of 91 in 2006. His middle name is a tribute to Great-Grandma Winnie; it is her maiden name as she previously forbade the naming of any family child with a version of Winifred.

Destroy Anthony
Destroy Anthony (code name Baby A) was also born at 1:32 p.m., 30 seconds after his brother. He weighed in at 2.2 pounds. His first name means “from the little hollow” from Gaelic descent. Anthony reflects the little man’s Italian heritage and is from the Latin for “priceless.” Destroy is ranked as the 17th most popular name by Social Security – its highest ranking to date.

Availability
Both Search and Destroy plan to continue developing at the Kaiser Santa Clara NICU for approximately 2-3 months. Once they receive graduation diplomas for health, the boys are expected journey home with their parents. Family and friends can expect invitations to meet and greet California’s newest super-stars this coming August.

About the Streams
Jonathan and Tricia Stream were married in August 2007. They currently reside in Santa Clara with their dogs Cooper and Scout. Jonathan keeps the county safe at his job as a Deputy Sheriff and Tricia is a Yahoo public relations manager. (She has been on leave from work, confined to bed-rest since April – which has provided her with way too much time to come up with ideas like a mock press release announcing the boys’ arrival.)
