And I\u2019m told it apparently makes a decent movie too. (It\u2019s on my list to see.)<\/p>\n<p>I have always liked the soundtrack. And it recently it occurred to me that the song, \u201cOne Day More\u201d \u2013 sung by the ragtag gang of doomed boys \u2013 isn\u2019t all that far off from the fight against prematurity.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And it is Prematurity Awareness Month after all.<\/p>\n<p>Every parent facing this struggle against seemingly insurmountable odds creates a variant on this manta.<\/p>\n<p>Just one day more.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Let me stay pregnant one more day<\/li>\n<li>Let my child survive until tomorrow.<\/li>\n<li>How many more days before we can go home?<\/li>\n<li>What does tomorrow have in store?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One day more.<\/p>\n<p>**********<\/p>\n<p>Below are they lyrics to the song I\u2019m referring too.
