Zebras are usually the highlight of a zoo trip for Leila (though she hasn’t been too often – but we do have the National Zoo within a 2 hour’s drive for us). I’m very, very afraid of walking by a primate facility if there is a monkey flinging feces. Very afraid.

Every time I’ve been to the zoo with my kids, ice cream was the highlight for both of them.
