Twins

Yes, they are twins. They are two boys. Yes, they are cute babies.

No, they are not identical; they are fraternal. No, that does not mean identical twin brothers.

Yes, I can tell them apart. How? I look at them.

Thank you. Yes, I have lost all the baby weight. No, I don’t have a big secret. I just didn’t have a third trimester.

Yes, we absolutely have our hands full. Our lives, as well as our hands, were much emptier without them.

Yes, they eat on the same schedule. We’re the parents, that’s why. No, we don’t get a lot of sleep. No we don’t know how we do it either. But we do.

Yes, they are natural. What the heck is an artificial baby?

Touche to all the inane comments and questions a new mom and dad hears!

How adorable they look!! Even I can pretty much tell them apart now — I think you covered all the “Twin Questions” — but you will probably still get some. G.G.

Glad GG knows which is which – I certainly don’t! I guess no one has provided me with the secret. I guess an artificial baby is one you get at Babys R Us!

ok, i have one last question…;)

i’m sorry. i couldn’t get past that you have lost the baby weight. 3rd tri or not- and i know you would have preferred the former. you look fantastic.

now on to my questions…so when you say “fraternal”, do you mean to say they aren’t twins…or are they “artificial twins”? j/k….get some rest mama! 🙂

artificial baby- are those like the artificial plants you dont have to water?

get used to saying “we’re the parents, that’s why!” you’ll need it to answer them in a few years (although we swore we would never give our children such an unsatisfying answer:)

fraternal twins- does that mean they are part of a fraternity already?
