TechMom Tuesday: OneDay at a Time

I write a monthly column over at AlliOSNews. It’s a techie site – extolling all the goodies and gunpowder on the Apple OS. (SHINY TOY!) I’m TechMom. And these are my stories on how technology is really used. This is what you must deal with, as I am a Silicon Valley nerd by day.

The Bell Still Rings For Me

I no longer lie awake at night listening for hoof-prints on the roof or the hissing steam and squeaking metal of the Polar Express. I’ve given up searching for a sleigh through a child’s eye.

Seasons change. Traditions evolve. We all grow up. For me, Christmas remains one of my favorite times of year – the spirit and memories of my childhood remain, tucked tightly into the bright white lights lining my tree. Continue reading →

Auld Lang Syne

Interestingly enough, I am closing out 2010 in the exact same fashion that I welcomed it – in my sweats, in my comfy chair, and gunning to be curled up in bed by the New York New Year. That’s about all I can same for the similarities between the years.
