Enjoy your real tree for Mitchell. He’s pretty upset that this will be the 2nd year without a beautiful Oregon fir. However, when your allergies make you sick every year, you finally realize that a real tree is out. I really enjoyed leaving out the cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer (if C and L are anything like Mitch, you’ll be putting a label on every carrot for each reindeer – no sharing!)

Nothing can equal childhood memories of Christmas — they are precious. And Search and Destroy will have your wonderful Blog to remind them. It’s true that ornaments are harder to hang on a “real” tree — I don’t know about tradition but I have great stories about some of our Christmas trees. G.G.
